Police Scotland is seeking the assistance of the public and the media in trying to trace a 19 year old man missing from Glasgow since the afternoon of Wednesday 24 July 2019.

Rhys Bonner left his home in Garlieston Road, Barlarnark, informing family he was going to meet a friend. He failed to return home and his family subsequently reported him missing on Friday 26 July 2019.

Rhys is white, around 6 ft tall, short brown hair, with a slim build. He was wearing a long sleeved green Celtic training top, black jogging trousers with a white stripe down the side of each leg, black Adidas trainers with white stripes and white soles and a grey North Face baseball cap when last seen.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out and the last confirmed sighing of Rhys was around 7:55pm on Wednesday evening at shops in Connisborough Road, Easterhouse.  He was then seen walking with a woman along Connisborough Road before turning into Gardyne Street.

Officers are continuing to review CCTV images and speak to family and friends for any additional information which could lead them to locating Rhys.

Inspector Brian Fraser said:

“Rhys maintains regular contact with his family and the fact that no-one has seen or heard from him is very unusual and his family is becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.  We are continuing to conduct enquiries including reviewing CCTV footage, searching the local area and speaking to Rhys’ family and friends to gather additional information which could assist us in locating him. I would appeal to anyone who may have seen Rhys or have any information as to his whereabouts to please contact us.  His family want him home and we just want to know he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Shettleston Police Office via 101, quoting incident number 2021 of 26 July 2019.
