Appeal For Oasis Fans To Take Part In New Knebworth Book

Authors of a new book on super-group Oasis are appealing to Glasgow fans who attended  Knebworth to send in their stories and memories from the historic music event  that defined an era.

“Good Evening Planet Earth”will be a coffee table the book on the legendary gig in 1996.

Authors Ian Jefferies and Brian Anderson both Oasis fans have launched a new kickstarter campaign to make the book possible.

Speaking to the author Ian Jefferies, “a book about Knebworth has never been done, by the fans for the fans, Oasis fans in for a real treat with this one”.

“The amount of response from all over the UK is truly amazing and we still have 21 days still to go”.

“Good Evening Planet Earth” is a brand-new illustrated coffee table book from Ian Jefferies and Brian Anderson celebrating one of the most important and iconic moments in British music history. In 1996 Oasis, the biggest band on the planet, played their biggest ever gigs, it defined an era. The band could have sold out the gigs for several weeks solid to millions.

Ian Jefferies started working in PR and publishing in 2005. He has worked on 50 plus PR campaigns and books in this time. He also works on Film PR.

Brian Anderson is currently a photographer working on projects in music and showbiz with various book projects published his pictures have graced newspapers TV and magazines.
