Witness appeal following robbery, Glasgow

 

Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in the Springboig area of the city.

The incident happened around 11.15pm on Tuesday, 15 October, at an address in Springboig Avenue, when two men entered a flat and made off with a five figure sum of money.

Both men are described as white and of a thin build with local accents. One suspect is 6ft with frizzy hair and a red beard.

The other suspect is 5ft 8ins and was wearing a dark coloured top with a zipped front and a navy NYC baseball cap. He was also carrying a white plastic bag.

Police Constable Mhairi Gunn said: “The householder was left extremely shaken by this incident and officers are working to establish the circumstances leading up to the robbery.

“If anyone has any information relating to this, or saw anyone matching the descriptions, either before or after the incident, they should contact us.
