Witness appeal following fatal road crash, Glasgow
Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses after a 95-year-old woman died as a result of a road traffic collision in the city.
The incident happened around 5pm on Thursday, 31 October, 2019 when a red Mazda car collided with a pedestrian on Aikenhead Road, near Cathcart Road.
The 95-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and Aikenhead Road was closed for around four hours.
Sergeant Jon Mochan, of Govan road policing unit, said: “We have already spoken to a number of people who witnessed the incident however we are appealing to anyone we haven’t spoken to and who witnessed this to please contact us.
