Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving a young child on board a bus in the Summerston area of Glasgow on Monday 22 October 2018.
Around 1.40pm police received a report that a three year old girl had been jagged on board a Number 61 First Bus.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and was released after treatment.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are looking to speak to anyone who was on board the bus around the time of the incident.
Detective Sergeant Colin MacRitchie from Maryhill CID said: “It is important that we speak to anyone who was travelling on the Number 61 bus between 11am and 1.20pm yesterday.
“No matter whether you think you have any information or not, we would like to hear from you as part of our enquiries.
“Anyone who was on board the bus between the specified times is asked to contact Maryhill CID via 101, quoting incident number 1679 of Monday 22 October
