|SERIOUS ASSAULT – EARNSIDE STREET, SHETTLESTON ,GLASGOW|
Police Scotland is appealing for information after a man was found with serious injuries in the Shettleston area of Glasgow on Wednesday 17 April 2019.
Around 5.50 pm a 40 year-old man was found by officers with serious facial injuries in Earnside Street, near the junction with Old Shettleston Road.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for his injuries.
Officers are currently carrying out CCTV enquiries in the area and it is believed that he was the victim of a serious assault by two men.
Detective Sergeant Colin Thapar, Shettleston Police Office, said:
“It is believed that this man was attacked by two men and officers are currently working to obtain a description of them.
“We know the area was busy at that time of night with people travelling home from work, somebody must have seen something.
“Did you see an injured man? Or any altercation take place in that area? You may not have realised how serious the incident was
