Serious assault – Drumchapel, Glasgow

 

Detectives at Drumchapel are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in a bus stop earlier today, Tuesday, 26 November, 2019.

 

Around 5.50am on Tuesday morning, police were called after a 20 year-old man was found lying seriously injured in a bus stop on Kinfauns Drive, near its junction with Goyle Avenue in Drumchapel.

 

Police and ambulance attended and he was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where he is being treated for stab wounds and lacerations.  Hospital staff describe his condition as serious.

 

Detective Sergeant Scott Brockie of Drumchapel Police Station said:  “We do not believe that the man was attacked within the bus stop, and we are carrying out enquiries in the local area to establish the exact circumstances and where it took place.
