Glasgow Eyes on Food & Drink in Glasgow
Food and Lifestyle
There is some fantastic weather on the way this weekend, the hottest bank holiday in 25 years they say.
So its beer garden time for us Glaswegians, and if you are on the town on business or on holiday, why not pop over to one of the City’s great venues.
Saint Lukes open now for a few years and goes from strength to strength. What can we say about the beer garden itself is a bit of the gem and the place to gather and enjoy the summer trying some of the great beers in stock.
“The Winged Ox Bar and Kitchen @ Saint Luke’s is serving up it’s own hearty brand of “Food for the Soul” this bank holiday weekend, with their BBQ and outdoor bar dishing out the best burgers and beers in the east of the city! Be sure to get down early to grab a table and enjoy some rays before their sun trap fill up!
Inside you’ll find great homemade pub classics, kebabs, pizzas and salads! Brunch is up from 11am-2pm across the weekend and there is live music on Sunday with David Duffy from 3-8pm bringing in the bank holiday cheer!

Next door in Saint Luke’s venue Asian Dub Foundation are performing the soundtrack to the cult french film La Haine on Saturday night and The Glasgow Vintage and Flea Market take over on Sunday from 11am with their eclectic mix of stalls selling records, vintage fashion, furniture and everything in between!
It’s set to be a great weekend… we’ll be donning our shades and seeing you in the beer garden for a cold one!”
