Police Scotland has launched a search for a 74-year-old man missing from the Bellgrove Hotel in the Gallowgate since Tuesday (February 6).
Ian Williamson left the homeless hostel around 11.30am and headed towards Duke Street to carry out some errands.
The last confirmed sighting of him is on CCTV in Duke Steet around 1.20pm on Tues
Ian failed to return to the Bellgrove and staff reported him missing the following day.
He is known to stick to a routine and doesn’t stray far from the Calton, Gallowgate or Duke Street areas.
Sergeant Simon Finnieston said: “It’s out of character for Ian not to return to the Bellgrove Hotel and he requires daily medication which police don’t believe he has with him.
Ian is white, around 5ft4 in height and slim, with white hair and a white beard. He was wearing a blue puff jacket, light blue jeans and black and white trainers when he was last seen.
