SERIOUS ASSAULT – DUNRAGIT STREET, GLASGOW
Officers in Glasgow are appealing for information after a 38 year-old man was seriously injured following a disturbance on Saturday afternoon.
Around 2.15 pm on Saturday 16 March 2019 a disturbance took place within a property on Dunragit Street, in the east end of Glasgow.
Two men then left the property and one of the men, a 38 year-old, was seriously assaulted in the street by the other one.
The suspect then made off in an unknown direction.
Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where is currently being treated.
Detective Constable John Boyd, Shettleston Police Office, said:
“We are still trying to get a description of the person responsible and find out exactly what happened leading up to the attack.
“Officers have been making door to door enquiries, but would like to appeal to anyone who was within the area who has not spoken to police to come forward.
“The disturbance started and then moved out into the street and therefore somebody must have seen or heard something. Think back, where were you on Saturday afternoon?
“We would also appeal to anyone who was driving in the area with dash-cam footage to get in touch with us. You may have information that can help us.”
