ROBBERY – DALMARNOCK, GLASGOW

Police are appealing for information after a 55 year old woman was robbed of her bag in Dalmarnock, Glasgow, in the early hours on Sunday 10 March 2018.

Around 2am yesterday morning, the woman was walking along Baltic Street when she was confronted by a man on a bike. He grabbed her rucksack and pushed her to the ground and made off.

The woman sustained a cut to her head as a result of the incident and was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where she was discharged after treatment.

Detective Sergeant Scott McNulty, Community Investigation Unit, Govan, Glasgow, said:

“The man on the bike is described as white, between 17 and 20 years of age and was wearing a grey top.

“We are currently making local enquiries and checking CCTV in the area but would also appeal to anyone who may have any information about the robbery to come forward.
