MISSING MAN – JULIEN LEPOWSKI

Police Scotland is appealing for the assistance of the public in trying to locate a man missing from Glasgow.

Seventy two year old Julien Lepowski was last seen by a neighbour in Dumbarton Road, Scotstoun, on the afternoon of Saturday 24 November 2018.

Mr Lepowski is around 5ft, with a slim build, short grey hair and currently has a goatee beard. It’s possible he may be driving a red Vauxhall Agila car, registration number SP58 ZDU.

Extensive enquiries are underway to try and locate Mr Lepowski, with officers checking CCTV images and linking in with public transport and colleagues from British Transport Police.   However, efforts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.

Mr Lepowski has often visited the Trossachs area and it’s possible he may have travelled there.

Sergeant Bart Simonis said:

“We are growing increasingly concerned for Julien.  His family and friends just want to know he is safe and well.  His wife recently died and we know he has been struggling to come to terms with that.  If anyone has seen Julien or has any information as to his whereabouts, then please do contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Drumchapel via 101, quoting incident number 3574 of Monday 26 November 2018.
