Glasgow Eyes Pictures of 2017

Take a look at our pictures from across the city in 2017 from the world of  street photography, reportage, news, music, and showbiz

It was a busy year for Glasgow Eyes as we continue to build something special for our amazing City of Glasgow through the power of pictures.

Was a fantastic music year, with the Stone Roses coming to town and legendary Sugar Hill Gang at Saint Luke’s, there was something for everyone.  2017 saw the general election and we were out and about with the First Minister. TRNSMT was great for us.

We saw the rise of some fantastic music talent The Ronains, Carly Connor, The Statler Project to The Shambolics and Hurricane#1.

We caught up with music’s  Ian Brown, Pete Macleod, Leo Sayer, Les Mckeown and Woody, Liam Gallagher, Depeche Mode at the Barrowland and Sir  Rod Stewart. Football greats, Alex Ferguson and  King Kenny Dalglish, Martin Oneil and Chis Sutton.

We saw armed police hit the streets as a result of the terror attack on the great city of Manchester. The party of the year was Manchester’s finest The Donnelly’s Brothers with the Gio Goi Party at the Classic Grand.

Glasgow Eyes was even in amongst the prizes at the Scottish Press Photo awards.

Look out 2018,  and we want to wish all the people that supported us a Happy New Year.
