Elderly woman named in weekend crash as Agnes (Nancy) Brannigan

Police Scotland have announced that a 95-year-old woman,  Agnes (Nancy) Brannigan from the Possilpark area of Glasgow,

died on Saturday 15 Sept on the M73 slip road to the M8 during a crash.

Police said a silver coloured Ford Fiesta was travelling northbound on the M73 northbound off-slip road to the M8 (J8). The vehicle appeared to lose control, leave the carriageway and crashed into a ditch on the grass verge.

The 68-year-old female driver of the car remains in a critical condition within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
