Friends and family of Debbie Duncan from Glasgow are getting together this weekend at McKinnons Bar to raise money to buy her a wig as she recovers from Cancer. Debbie a loyal customer at the Bar on Glasgow’s Gallowgate area,  lost her long blonde hair as a result of the chemotherapy and radiotherapy after being diagnosed.

Her friends family will gather at McKinnons on the this Friday 11th of January for the charity night and raffle.

Speaking to the bar’s manager Denise Ross she said today,   “Debbie Duncan fabulous personality. Loving mother beautiful long blonde hair supported by her family on this grueling journey  Hoping that her last treatment. marks the start of her getting life back and if we can give her a fabulous wig to give her a boost when we are so grateful to be able to help people have been very kind .. We hope to raise around 500 pounds because cancer doesn’t stop with your last treatment  It’s a life-changing experience .it effects every day after you are diagnosed It’s a different life you get  with different priorities and different struggles … And you see what really does matter. U never go back but she can go forward and our little gesture of a wig hopefully helps Debbie do that. The pub owner is called Margo. And despite this horrible disease effect ting her own family. Wants desperately to help Debbie get her wig”
