41 Year old man stabbed in Maryhill

Serious Assault – Maryhill, Glasgow

 Detectives are appealing for information after a 41 year-old man was seriously assaulted in Maryhill on Sunday 13 May 2018.

 

Around 2am on Sunday morning, the 41-year-old man was found lying seriously injured in Cumlodden Drive, Maryhill.   The man was assaulted within a flat and common close and then made his way out onto the roadway.

 

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for a stab wound to his body and a facial laceration.  Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.

 

Detective Constable Maxine Shields of Maryhill Police Office is appealing for witnesses.  She said:  “I would urge anyone who was in the Cumlodden Drive area of Maryhill around 2am on Sunday morning, who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has information that may assist our investigation to come forward.
